SUMMARIO da vida, acçoens e gloriosa morte DO SENHOR D. FERNANDO chamado O INFANTE SANTO

Fortunato De S. Boaventura, Fr.

REF.26135

Year 1958

Coimbra; Coimbra University; In-8th of 74(2) pages; broached

"Among the reserved ones of the General Library of the University is (...) which is currently being republished. It is a very rare book, to which the tradition of being the only copy existing in Portugal is linked." "According to the news given by Mr. António José de Figueiredo, it begins with a preface by the translator on 8 pages, followed by the text, making the calculation of 61 pages, and 2X more illustrative proofs of the same text. - The author sent many copies to Portugal, but it seems that they all went astray in Gibraltar, or somewhere else on the coast of Spain." These last lines clearly reveal the reason for the rarity of the work of Fr. Fortunato de S. Boaventura. Copy in good condition.
