"In
this book we seek only to gather all that, because of its significance
and value, can contribute to the splendor of the homage that the city of
Porto taxed the memory of Prince Henry. No
other purpose has moved us, and here is the reason why we limit
ourselves to the role of simple compiler, mentioning facts and events,
as they have. The news of such an imposing civic solemnity dispelled by the
newspapers, we understand that to assemble them in a book, giving them
orders, would be to render an excellent service to scholars and
collectors.
A richly illustrated work with intercalated engravings in the text and extra-text.
Exemplary with good binding with spine and cante, beautiful work of nerves and gold irons in the spine. Preserves the broccoli covers with some handling damage. Mola with occasional peaks of acidity, habitual in this type of paper. In good general condition.
